Why We Are Here
Traditional screens and AR/VR displays suffer from long-term risks and vergence-accommodation conflict, leading to eye strain and motion sickness.
They have many unknowns for children’s young and developing vision. Our work in light field holography dynamically adjusts focal depth to mimic natural vision, reducing strain and improving long-term eye health.
We are currently pursuing a National Eye Institute (NEI) grant to set the scientific foundation for safer, more ergonomic display standards across industries.
Our next-generation holographic and light field systems aim to enhance user comfort, eye health, and the potential for creating new diagnostic tools that will lead to better vision care, reshaping how people interact with digital content while protecting their vision.
